Reiki, Level I Attunement Certification
with Kathy Roseborough

Saturday, March 20, 2010
9:30am-4:00pm
Kula Burlington

Reiki is the Japanese word for Universal Life Force. Reiki is an ancient hands-on healing technique whereby the practitioner channels Life Force to the receiver. When Life Force becomes blocked, whether through stress or emotional trauma, it impedes a healthy energetic flow resulting in disease and emotional disharmony. While Reiki is gentle and non-invasive, it powerfully heals and accelerates the release of energetic impasses, thus opening the path to stress reduction, personal empowerment and freedom from mental and emotional blocks.

Students will learn:
* How to create a healing space
* Hand Placements - Energy Awareness
* Reiki I Attunement
* Healing physical, emotional and mental bodies for self and others

Students are attuned by Reiki Master, Kathy Roseborough to the Universal Healing Ray.

No previous experience required, simply a desire to connect with an open heart to one’s self and others.

Please wear comfortable clothing.

Noah Mazé at Kula Annex June 25th - 27th, 2010

A Weekend Anusara Yoga Intensive : Triadic Heart

Delight in a weekend of Anusara Yoga® for all levels.  Each session will progress systematically through the poses on the three Syllabi of asanas as taught in the Anusara tradition. Thoughtful and creative sequencing, clear instruction, and stages within the poses will ensure that every practitioner is accommodated, from advanced to the proficient beginner. As we align our bodies in asana, we will engage minds and hearts with teachings of the Triadic Heart of the Goddess; Kali, Saraswati, Lakshmi, as a strategy to celebrate the fullness of embodiment.  Each session will include asana, philosophy and myth, meditation and mantra.

Friday, June 25th: 6:30-9:30 pm - kali: Full Spectrum Practice

Kali, whose name means dark, or black, represents the fullness of potential and potency present in each one of us.  We turn into the darkness of consciousness, to mine the deepest possibilities, and to create a life of sweetness and shared community.

Saturday, June 26th: 2:00-6:00 pm - saraswati : Full Spectrum Practice, into Level II syllabus

Saraswati, the "Essence Flowing", inspires this practice as we refine and expand from syllabus I into II, with an emphasis on backbends.  Saraswati, white as moonlight, intoxicating as the light of the Self, represents the greatest possibilities of intelligence and culture.

Sunday, June 27th: 1:00-5:00 pm - lakshmi : Full Spectrum Practice, beauty in EVERY pose

Lakshmi, is a mark of beauty and value, which we experience when an asana has reached that exquisite place of balanced action.  She represents beauty, and inspires artistic vinyasa sequencing, hip openers and forward bends that transform into arm balances as expressions of the heart.
Sunday June 27 : 1pm to 5pm

Full Weekend $220/($200 Early) Single Session $80($75 Early)
